PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS

Derived from Pinus silvestris, a plant of the Pinaceae family, Scots Pine essential oil is known for its many properties, carries out a toning, expectorant and antiseptic action and is useful to relieve stress, asthma and cystitis.

• Toning: promotes efficiency in the morning and is recommended in cases of hypotension and cardiac insufficiency. Useful for relieving fatigue in tired or overstressed people, in cases of sleep disorders or nervous exhaustion.

• Expectorant: when inhaled, it fluidifies phlegm and facilitates its expulsion. It is therefore recommended in the treatment of colds, sinusitis, flu, coughs, laryngitis, acute or chronic bronchitis and asthma. Its fresh and balsamic scent helps purify the air.

• Urinary antiseptic: besides being an effective diuretic, it has an anti-inflammatory action on the urogenital tract, working effectively in cases of prostatitis, urethritis, cystitis and leucorrhoea. External use is hekpful in the treatment of gout and rheumatism.
