PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Derived from Salvia sclarea, a plant of the Labiatae family, Clary sage essential oil is known for its many properties, has a relaxing, purifying and cicatrising action and is useful for the treatment of asthma, menstrual pain and alopecia. • Relaxing: when diffused, it generates calm and serenity and relieves stress and nervousness. • Rebalancing: if diluted in sweet almond oil and massaged onto the body, it is useful for the treatment of lymphatic stagnation, cellulite, premenstrual syndrome, menopausal flushes, menstrual pain, amenorrhoea or heavy menstruation. • Deodorant: effective both against increased sweating affecting the hands, armpits and feet – a condition known as hyperhidrosis – and as an antibacterial remedy in case of odour-causing bacteria; for these reasons, extremely effective in solving sweating-related problems. • Cicatrising: when applied topically, it has an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action and heals skin tissue. Suitable for the treatment of mouth ulcers, dermatitis, insect bites, skin ulcers, acne and/or fungal infections such as mycosis and candidiasis.
